Are You Attending ATD ICE 2019?!
Did you know ATD’s 2019 International Conference & Expo is only a month away? It’s crazy how quickly the weeks fly by!
Although I’ve attended several different conferences and facilitated many different sessions over the years, my favorite part of any conference is meeting all of the folks, like you, that follow me here at TimSlade.com.
If you’re attending ATD ICE this year, I’d love to meet you and invite you to join me for the two, jam-packed sessions I’ll be facilitating! Check out the details below.
Graphic Design for Non-Graphic Designers
In this one-day, hands-on pre-conference workshop, we’ll explore the basics of graphic design and visual communications, and how to apply these techniques to your learning content. We’ll start by exploring the best practices of using fonts, colors, images, and layouts, then practice using these techniques on real content. Best of all, you’ll explore how you can become a graphic designer by using a tool that most of us already know how to use: PowerPoint!
- Date: Saturday, May 18th, 2019
- Time: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST
- Room: 102 B
Creating Engaging Learning Experiences Through Visual Design
In this one-hour education session, we’ll learn how to use visual communications to create engaging learning experiences. We’ll explore how to use visual communication techniques to visualize your learning content and help your learners “see” what you’re saying. Best of all, this session will focus on tips anyone can use, regardless of your current art or graphic design skills.
- Date: Monday, May 20th, 2019
- Time: 1:00 PM – 2:15 PM EST
- Room: Room: 145
Author Meet & Greet
